And 10 things for Monday....

It has come to my attention that it's been many moons since I gave you purely random information about myself. How did you make it this far?? I'm so sorry! Let this post be a remedy for the very unfortunate situation that we find ourselves in.

1. SLEEP COMPLEX. I absolutely hate sleeping. It's scary how little sleep I can live off of.

2.  CHOCOLATE CHIPS. Those of you who know me well, know that chocolate chips (5, no more or no less) are always to be had after any meal. The way to my heart is through chocolate chips, I guess! Lovers and friends, take note.

3. SYNETHESIA  This is actually new information, listen up kids! I have a "disorder" called synethesia. Which is really confusing to explain, but basically colors and letters and numbers all mix for me. It's quite fun, from my point of things. Wikipedia calls it a "neurological phenomenon." That explains a lot.

4. MY GUILTY PLEASURE? Easy, mascara. My poor lashes know nothing other than layers of mascara, photo above is exhibit a.

5.  EXTROVERT OR NOT? I'm an extrovert all right, just a realllly lazy one. Also obsessed with personality types and analyzing the personalities of everyone I meet. (So be warned, I have wondered about your personality type while I lay in bed at night. It's a given.)

6. MORE  JANE AUSTEN, PLEASE. There is something great to be said about a Jane Austen movie. I can't decide if it's the distinguished accents or the regency period clothes, but they get me every time.

7. ALWAYS THAT ONE PERSON....in the movie theater that you hate. It's always really awkward because I always give my opinion (loudly to the lucky person who has the pleasure of being with me) right when it's quiet. It's an unfortunate gift!

8. NKS TO YOU TOO! I have this really bad habit of saying thanks...but never enunciating.. So I say "nks" instead of thanks. And more often than not, it sounds like I'm sneezing, which is a really odd way to say thank you.

9. "DO YOU WORK HERE?" I don't know if I have a minimum wage look about me, but for years I keep getting mistaken as an employee. It even happened in the Lourve! A chic Parisian came and babbled a question to me, all the while I knew nothing of what she was saying. And my deer in the headlights look didn't convince her! Because she asked again in English!

10. I GUESS I LIKE TO CUDDLE. Because I've always got a blanket or a pillow or a towel on my lap. As I told Sarah, "Towels are my life!" and I guess there is no shame in wanting to be cozy!

Anyway, we can all breathe a little easier knowing more random facts about this Kryn! Remember the good old days of emailing tags around to our closest 40 friends? (And if we didn't, a curse would fall upon us and our house would burn down or something equally terrible, we'd run out of our favorite hot dog condiment.) Consider this post a modern, glorified version (without all the rainbow fonts, thank you very much.)

10 things {the punk}

 For the fun of it, I thought I'd switch it up and do 10 things about Sophie. Yes, I know she is only a lowly canine, but she really is an interesting specimen.

1. She is very impatient and vocal.
2. Her recent favorite pastime is lizard chasing.
3. A delicious treat to her is a paper towel.
4. My bed is her bed.
5. Besides my bed, she naps in the sun, near me, or on a beanbag (she looks hilarious!)
6. Sophie is scared of the vacuum.
7. She has run away once. It was a very bad day.
8. When she wants to get out of my room in the morning, she hops on my bed and starts licking my face.
9. She has an over abundant love for strangers.
10. She ignores cats.

Ended with a bang there didn't we? Cats arn't quite as exciting as Sophie. I'm sorry, but it's true. And a bonus point is that Sophie has been sprayed with perfume before. And I can't exactley plead innocent here. I'm just showing love....right? Absolutely! I think.

10 things {habits}

1. I do not believe in rising before the sun.
2. If I remember to put the lid on the tooth paste-something is wrong.
3. I love dusting. Big time.
4. I don't bite my nails but I am an exuberant trimmer.
5. I eat breakfast the second I get up.
6. I love holding things over my nose (I'll explain.)
7. People chewing loudly near me is so so bad.
8. I crack my toes every morning.
9. Drinking a full glass of milk is something I never do.
10. I like to twist my arms in a funky way.

Okay, so I finished my fair stuff! Woot woot! I am officially a happy clam. I feel like doing something amazing to celebrate, but so far nothing. I'm actually already planning my next outfit (I say that like you should be surprised...I started planning it about 3 weeks ago.) I plan all kinds of things. Like what colors the colors my kitchen will be in my townhouse, what kind of car I'll have and what kind of dessert we'll have at my moms funeral. (Please know, I'm not hoping to use these plans anytime soon.) I guess I could have added planning to my habits list because it is a very prevalent habit. Oh, and in bed I like to plan what I'll eat for breakfast. I think I could write a whole post about the weird things I plan. Hope your Monday was just wonderful!

A little confession.

(This is going to be a new little series here on Garden of Happiness. I'll post these every now and then and you can learn a little about me. Although, you might already know more than you'd like too!)

1. After I get in the shower, I always check to make sure I've taken of all my clothes.
2. I am addicted to orange junk food (Cheeze-Its, Cheeto's, goldfish and Cheddar Sun Chips.)
3. I generally write (and send) about 20 letters a month.
4. I don't do well with suspense.
5. I cannot/will not write with a pen "correctly".
6. I love Cardigans! (Surprise!)
7. I own 17 hand sanitizers and have not used all of them.
8. I have a new love. Its called Navy Blue.
9. As much as I love taking, I hate talking in front of large groups.
10. I still use my baby blanket.

Be nice to me okay! I still love my blankie. I don't cry if I don't have her and I don't always use her, but I do like her quite a lot. She's so soft and yes of course she's a she. I think you are judging me - please don't!
