DARK AND MOODY MONDAY

For the first time in probably 3 seasons I decided to skip a volleyball practice. And by skip I mean, I had a fever and I didn't feel like downing a bottle of dayquill. Instead the puppies and I went out side (something we used to do quite often) and I blessed the neighbors with music - both of my shutter clicking and my ukulele plucking.

I wasn't planning on going all black and white and moody with these photos but then again , Matthew Crawley just DIED. He's DEAD.

On second thought, black and white forever.

PS: Alternate ending; "Help I've fallen into Downton Abbey and I can't get up." Either works.
PPS: This song only increases the mood.
PPSS: Let's buy mood rings while we're at it! Though everyone I've ever had seems to get stuck on romantic...I can't imagine why!

THIS close

Sophie's personal space ranges from no where in sight to right in your face. And nowhere in between. So I guess if you don't mind having a dog sitting on your face or somewhere equally awkward, Sophie and you could be BFF's.

Just as long of you give lots of massages and treats. And maybe I'll just tag along...?

The day the tree came down

I don't know why, but I got SUPER sentimental with our tree this year. Maybe because it was our first tree that was like "I'M NO WUSS" or something, or maybe because I got to pick out the ornaments. And they looked like gumdrops. Ooomph.

I'm just trying to say that I hugged our tree so many times that it's actually quite embarrassing.

Anyway, I took a bunch of photos while we took down the tree. I think it was to distract me from crying and getting all sentimental. Who knows - next I'll make a photo album with these pictures and print a bunch and put them in my wallet. "Here's my dog, and, my Christmas tree!!" Another distraction would be that I edited the living daylights out of these suckers. I was an emotional wreck - what else could I have done?

And after we finished we went and watched Toddlers and Tiaras and all was right with the world.

(That is, until Honey Boo-Boo came on.)

Happy Day

From the Sophster and I,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hope you all have an amazing day. See ya in a few!

Flexible

Sorry Soph, but I don't see cirque du soleil  in your future. But I still love ya.

Bloom

Okay, so I finally celebrated plant a flower day. One week later. But at least I did it. I am the type of girl who once I decide I want to do something, I persist until it gets done. At first, Dad said no(ish) but last night we made it to Lowes and picked up some little flowers ( oh, and yes, I grabbed a bunch of paint chips to add to my collection.)

So I planted my flowers like a flower planting pro. I watered them like a pro. Then my punk came and dug a huge hole and broke a bunch of my pretties...like a pro. I think I need to train her to be a little more unprofessional in her methods, that might save more of the flowers next time around. Anyhow, I salvaged most of them and Sophie went back to chasing lizards. Then Bubbles came, and in the same pro like manner as Sophie, attacked the same plant and dug another hole. It will be a miracle  if these flowers last a week.

I love how they pretty up the yard. I feel all springy now, with the  great weather and Easter being right around the corner and now the flowers are the icing on the cake. Oh, and I have peeps. Peeps are the official food of spring.

Have a super duper Sunday! And I hope I don't sound like an 8 year old, but I mean it.

My so called helper.

And the other helper."

Punk in the Garden

Lets Just focus on the kale.

Today I went out in my pretty pink coat with my camera in hand. I ended up in the garden.

Mostly because I was trying to shoo Punk away from the Kale and Basil. It will eventually go in my mouth and I absolutely do not want punk germs on my food. While I never do it, gardening just seems so fun. Planting it, watering it, waiting for it to grow - it just is way to long of a process for me. I like things to go fast. I'm also not the most patient person you could know. I am for sure going to try flowers again this year. Last year, they all just ended up becoming a pile of weeds. This year I am hoping for much more beautiful and colorful results!

Huzzah! I finally made the switch and can make my pictures nice and large. I used to make them so small!  This is really going to enhance my low quality photo's huh? Maybe I should switch back and spare you all. :)

I Love you Sophie!

Its love your pet day and for goodness sake I hope you gave your best buddy the biggest hug ever! If your best buddy happens to be a fish, I hope for his sake you didn't.

I have a punk.

I'm fairly sure you are fairly aware of that fairly obvious fact.

Sophie is my BFF. She's is perfect for me. She is docile and likes banana's and snores. She proudly wears the turtle costume I bought her last Halloween. She endures my endless chatter, sometimes suffocating hugs and still stays near me all day. She's okay with being chased with a giant exercise ball or being wrapped in towels. I'm not brutal, I promise. Sophie has even had a manicure. And that is not helping me prove my point.

Okay, she is spoiled. You might have noticed.
I'm seeing similarities between Sophie and the Sphinx.
I need to start removing background items such as dirty ballet flats.

The only effect I can get to work in photo shop.

I love ya Soph. I think you know it.

Bubble Gum.

Obviously we love bubbles here - after all, we got a puppy named bubbles! I gave Emily some bubble gum for her birthday. (I am such a kind friend!) Well, turns out she and I both LOVED it. We love blowing bubbles. A whole lot.
Big bubble love.Emily's first bubble! A modest one, but no doubt a great start.

PS: I love my camera.
PPS: I hear an ice cream truck.

Bigness and Longess

I've been a slacker I admitted it and now we are moving right along. Rather than do 3 post for my 14 things I love, I'm just going to combine them all into one. I like things to be tidy.

Day 7: Baking with no dishes love
Bakery story is a fun little app that I only play around Valentines day. You open up your bakery and then bake away! I love all the treats you can make. And, NO DISHES!! You can make stuff and no dishes. I have to repeat it because it is extremely glorious. Of course, the fact that you can't eat it is not so great but whatever. No dishes= Love There is really not much to this game, but I totally love it. And I like Apps that make toast. Maybe I'm a little crazy? Nah....

Day 8: Emma Love (make it obsession.)
Okay, you knew this one was coming. I love Emma to the moon and back and back again. I smile through the entire movie (yes, even after I've watched it 7 billion times). There is just something uber wonderful about Emma. Maybe it's the English accents. Maybe it's the gorgeous gowns. Maybe because the men were actually Gentlemen. It might even be the fact that I am in love with their couches ( hmm, not sure couches is the "proper" term.) Also, Emma and I have a lot in common. We both talk too much and are way to nosy.

Basically, you have to go watch the BBC Emma this very second. Go!!!

On second though, hang around till you finish reading this post. Then you can go fall in love with Emma.

Day 9: Endearment Love.

The last one is Endearing terms, also known as terms of endearment. Believe me, I give everything and one a nickname. Tubs is a prime example, here is a sampling of hers:
Tubby
Pumpkin
Butternut Squash (please, don't ask.)
Miss Moon Eyes
Pudgeulator (these are not even words!)
Sophster
Punk
Punkadilly

You get the point. I also have a bunch of nicknames. My dad gave me most of them, I sort of follow in his foot steps with this whole thingy. Dad named a pillow case after Shaun Cassidy. I've been looking for Shaun for a while now. I'm still hunting for that purple piece of satin.

Thank you for suffering through this immense post. Remember your orders? Good, now be a good little kiddlet and obey!

Sweet Stuff

I love February. I love most everything about it. First of all, pink is widely excepted. So is dessert and yummy things to eat. By this time, everyone has forgotten about their new years resolutions to eat healthy and such and goes for the good stuff....pie, cake, cupcakes, cake pops. And you like the new background? Yeah, me too. Reminds me of a cupcake store. Okay, I need to change the subject.

For the 13 days leading up to Valentines day (and on Valentines day.) I'll be showing you 14 things I love. They all vary quite a lot. It wont be super thrilling, but it will be fun to share with you the things I love.

She is just the sweetest.

Weekender

It's the weekend and I am prepared for weekend awesomeness. Weekends usually involve church, watching news out the wazoo, homework and bike rides. Nothing over the top, but still fun. I'm going to go to Joannes tonight so I can have plenty of craft supplies to last me all through Sunday.

You wanted to see pictures of Punk all shaved and groomed?

I personally think Sophie looks adorable shaved. But this time they cut her tail really short. I'm not a fan of that. And now, Bubby looks like a huge monster compared to Sophie. Bubbles is taller than Sophie, but with all that fur, she looks even bigger. (And see how much she loves wind!)

That's the weekender. Have a great day! xoxo

Wind

Did you knowThat the puppies love wind?

It's true. And if you don't believe me, this is proof.

That tounge

Is a wild one.
It is very active.
And pink!
It loves to lick....anything

And everything.

Random

I am so smitten on my big girl camera.
Pretty paper stars/flowers for the tree.

Punk went on a little adventure - to the front yard!

Xoxo, Kryn

This is the only kind of evolution I believe in.

PS: Oh, you may have noticed that the Sophster is hanging out by our tree! And I got my CD. Life is good again!

Silent (day)

This was a very interesting weekend for me. I was forced to be quiet. It was brutal.

I lost my voice. I could whisper, but not talk. Of course, the weekend when our friends come to town! Maybe I was the only person who didn't not hearing my endless chatter!
Jana and I used to be the same height....4 years ago.
Jana and Megan.
Punk was looking so cute!
Before I fell over.

I believe we are finally getting a Christmas Tree (Can I hear a woot from someone please?) Dad thought Christmas was 3 weeks away, not 2. I am going to buy Michael Buble's album today. That is good news.

XOXO,
Silent Person
