Earth Cracking

I'm getting smarter. It may take a long, long, long time, but I'm getting there! Today, I made a few semi earth shattering discoveries. We could just leave it at earth cracking. The biggest earth cracking moment for me was (along time ago) When I was in the bathroom in a public building and figured out that Kanga and Roo  makes Kangaroo. (You know, from Pooh?)  I was so happy I figured it out I just started shouting "Kanga and Roo...Kangaroo!" It was so totally earth cracking. I didn't do anything that weird in public today ( and I'd hope so considering I'm  wearing tie dye - eek!) But anyway....my earth cracking discoveries:

  • That KJ should always be around when I need the Vacuum brought upstairs.
  • That I wish I could eat cookies all day long,
  • That helium makes balloons float.
  • That I really love being organized.
By the time I figure everything out, the world will be in a million pieces. And in case you were wondering I really didn't know that about helium.(I actually found that out a few weeks ago, but it was so funny I had to include it.) I don't know how or why I missed that in preschool, but apparently I did. I was probably too busy solving the world hardest math problems and painting mini Mona Lisa's.

Or I wasn't paying attention. But I'm positive it wasn't that.

Me and pancakes

Me and pancakes just go together. We love one another lots and lots.

Pancakes have been my favorite since the dawn of time. When I was 2, our family traveled on a train for a few days. And every day I had pancakes for breakfast. I called them panny cakes. And by the end of the trip, the nice old waiter knew what I wanted for breakfast.

I could really talk all day about pancakes. Have you been to IHOP? They have a insane  amount of pancake choices. Eggnog, cinnistack, strawberry, blueberry, blah blah blah. Its kind of weird. I am a pancake purist. Yes, I love the eggnog and strawberry pancakes, but I love plain ones just as much. With warm butter. And syrup. Its  pretty much the best thing a girl can have.

I have been looking forward to this day since I realized that I missed it last year. It's been on my calender since January. I have been counting down the days. I LOVE PANCAKES. Sorry, I had to say it. I  just can't really express my love totally. Last night I knew I had to leave early, so I was going to make a batch of batter and keep it in the fridge till this morning. But we had a small issue: our water was turned off! Thankfully we got around that issue, I made my batter and went to bed thinking happy thoughts about pancakes. Mom made me the pancakes for me in the morning. I was having issues not taking over the pancake making. I like to be in control. Anyway, I loved having pancakes. I will love pancakes today and forever and everyday until then. I'm not sure why I told you this story. But I did. So enjoy it. Please.

Thank you Pancakes. Thank you for totally rocking this world and showing people what awesomeness is.

This Little Piggie...

Word on the street is that people like my, this little piggie and o-negative awesomeness post from June.I never actually thought anyone liked it because I didn't really get any response on it, until 6 months later. I the reason they like it is because there is a really awkward picture of my self. But anyway, as a special treat for those of you who like it, I went back and took out all the enormous spaces so it is a little easier for you to read.

Go check it out!

And one last thing:

I. want. these. bad.

It aint easy

Being a ballerina always sounded so magical to me when I was a little girl.

And maybe when I was 11.

But anyway...ballerina's are graceful and cute and they have pink tutu's which is pretty awesome. And pink shoes that clank of the floor. And pink tights! They love pink just as much as I do.

Today I watched a video of my old ballet performance. Ahem.

I don't think I'll ever be a prima ballerina. Being graceful is absolutely not in my bones. The whole thing was pretty hilarious. None of us could really dance. We just sort of waved our arms around in different ways and moved our legs.

But we all had pink shoes and pink tights so it was still fairly awesome.

Newvember #15 Ballerinaisum is for the pro's.

And you'll...see my cousin dancing with a zucchini...KJ trying to get a dog the balance on his head...

A really grumpy lady...
My grandma doing the Bill Clinton ....(yes, its a REAL hippie van!)
a flying teddy bear....
....and a Vera Bradley.

Look closely, you'll be surprised at what you find.

Bestest cousin ever, last Christmas. It was Star Wars okay? We get kind of excited.Brother and I last weekend.

So that's that. I could really groove at age 3. It's a gift!

I really was that weird?

I used to have a blog.

A long time ago.

I have forgotten about it. On purpose. I was reading it today.

I can't belive I was so weird!

But then I wonder "What will I think of myself in 10 years?" Will I think still think I was weird?

I have no idea.

Here is a post from my old blog:

Today is our last full day here in Arizona, that makes me really sad

Here is a list of some of the things we have been doing here:

  • Yesterday we drove around "Old Town" and got some candy! I got, "Prickly Pear Cactus candy" and it was kind of wierd!! It made me sick. Then we went to OutBack and our servers looked like Justin Bartha (with a messy hairstyle!) and the other waiter looked like someone from Star Trek.
  • We went to the library and I read a book on Diana!
  • I got a Build~A~Bear. I know I’m a little old for them, but they are so cute! I got a cat and her name is Payton, and she is soo cute!
  • Today we are planning on going to a museum, but I am not feeling very good so we might not go.

Toodles!

And if you needed more proof...

Things Here are pretty cool! Two days ago we drove to the Capitol, but its not the best looking Capitol I have ever seeen.

Yesterday we drove to Tucson to see Biosphere 2, that was very interesting. Its a big green house that scientist’s use to to research. They did one mission there where 8 people lived in Biosphere 2 for 2 years and 20 min.!!

This picture is really small, but you get the point.

They have 3 "biomes" that they have re-created, the Rain Forest, Desert, and something else. The best part was the Rain Forest because there was a mister. It was HOT! I mean, the building is glass, it was afternoon and there was no air conditioning!! Thankfully there was a fan, in the room which name I am forgetting, so I stood in front of it and missed most of our Tour Guides info talk. I don’t think I missed anything that great.

So that’s it in a nutshell and I will write more later!

Toodles!

Kryn

Oh my. This is making me want to stop blogging right now.

But they make me laugh. They're sort of fun to read.

So I think I'll keep going.

I'm a mutt

Its Mutt's day. Generally, I think of Mutts as dogs. But I'm actually a mutt of sorts. I'm talking about my genealogy here people. I am Swedish, Norwegian, Canadian and something else on my dads. On my moms, I'm a Daughter of the American Revolution and Cherokee. I'm so pleased with my blend. It's pretty neat.

Right now I'm watching Huckleberry Hound. He is the coolest. I love old TV shows. They are the coolest. This will be very short for me as generally I show of my wonderful gift of gab. I'm sick today so I don't feel like doing anything.

Sincerely,
Oh my darlin'
