A.H.L.L (nope, that wasn't awkward at all.)

Oh its always a happy day when you fingers finally fumble together a Katniss braid and in the same sort of way, when they fumble a great save in softball! (In the one inning you played....but that's beside the point.)

Anyway, I've been mentally keeping track of this list but we all know how great I am anything that involves my brain functioning, so it was time for the pen to hit the paper (ahem, fingers to the  keys....it is the 21st century and all!) and get these written down. (at 1 am no less because, rebel.)

-TAZO WILD ORANGE TEA
Hopefully God has been keeping track of the numbers of hairs on my head and cups of tea i've consumed because I kind of lost count (of both) at least 5 years ago. Not all teas are created equal but this tea was created with you and me in mind. I kid you not, best tea I've ever had.

-SPRING SPRING SPRING!
Spring makes me happy for a variety of reasons, but mostly the colors! I'm about to mentally pack away my beloved black turtleneck (Mentally because frankly, I'm way too lazy.) and say aloha to my printed shorts and all that jazz! Oh, I am so excited!

-HART OF DIXIE
I mostly watch this show for the outfits (In my next life, I plan to be a southern belle, emphasis on the rich doting father.) However, the show itself is good too! My friend and I have been watching it at the same time and each week we discuss (and some disgust!) over the weeks events. Also the small town vibes are alive and well, which means #nostalgia for Kryn.

-COMMERCIAL HOLIDAYS THAT RESULT IN CHOCOLATE GOODNESS
I just went to target and bought cake batter m&m's and sugar cookie flavored popcorn. I mean come on, this world can do no wrong.

-SUGAR, YES PLEASE.
This song has quickly become mine! And if you think it's yours, well forget it! Whenever Sugar is on the radio I am graced with many beautiful snapchats of my friends singing along. Also, have you seen the music video?  Caution: after watching you might experience rare side effects such as A.) wanting to get married or B.) wanting to marry Adam Levine.

-FOOD WITH FLAIR
I've been on this cooking kick and it's involved a lot of unusual things. I made a Moroccan-ish meal with the help of Sous Chef Mother and it was KILLER. I am not one to really remember food unless it involves 10 grams of sugar and cocoa but! Not sure if it's worth mentioning, but it makes me happy so duh.

Have a happy day full of happiness! Also, try not to be as generic with your adjectives as I am.

I like to reminisce

A little while ago (okay, 2 months ago), Emily and I were telling a friend all of our hilarious old stories. We've been friends since what seems like the dinosaur ages, and our stories are just as long as a sauropod. A few that came to mind were the time we pretended we were slaves, and the time we tried to hunt an alligator (also known as a 5 inch fish.) Our repertoire is longer than you'd like to know, and we laugh at everything.

We have assumed more nick-names than I ever thought possible (Our favorites being Rebecca Brisket and Kathleen I say Lahaye). We can at any moment belt out into a song written by yours truly. We fight for who can spot the Vera Bradley first and who can get to the computer fastest. (Always shouting " I CALL THE POWER CHAIR.")

We've made a movie staring a potato and some (naughty) crackers. We've observed the tans of her neighbors.
We are basically the weirdest of friends. And we like it that way.

I think I'm finished reminiscing. But I can go into detail about alligator hunting adventures if you like. Although I'm sure that when I was little if I really DID see an alligator, all I would do is scream bloody murder. And I just know you don't want me to demonstrate that.

Love,

Happy things

Dad and KJ are out of town. Its party time! That is, if you consider reading economics or studying Greek partying. I don't.

So instead of thinking of terrible things, lets think of happy things shall we? Like Navy blue and white stripes?
All from Kate Spade, all over $300. All of these will never enter my closet. I thought we were supposed to be talking about happy things to get our minds of economics? This conversation is turning dismal.

Lets talk about glasses. Glasses are happy. I got my 2 new pairs. I love one. I have not worn the other pair enough to know if I love them or not. When I do wear them, I feel like I have goggles on and end up taking them off 5 seconds later.

You can sort of see them here.
Yeah, they're fairly happy glasses!

Also, I started to achieve one of my new years goals! Happy Happy thought. If you want to look back at them, click the lovely image with chevron stripes to the right of this. I'll let you guess which one I'm working on, I think you might know.

And if all else fails, I resort to Hand Sanitizer. A forever source of happiness.
And it happens to be a little cheaper than a Kate Spade dress. Like $298.50 cheaper.

Sophie and the stick

Sophie loves sticks. And she especially loves Bubble's stick. So of course, she needed this here stick.

Her plan of action is to distract, then go for the stick.Everything goes according the crafty plan of a young punk.
Unfortunately, Bubbles caught on to the mischievous plan.

A long spasm/fight followed.

This looks really uncomfortable. Finally, many awkward positions later, my punk claims the stick. Victory!
Congrats, punk. You won the Battle. You got the stick. Life is complete right?Of course.

That is, until Bubbles finds another stick.
