16 AGAIN!

Well as of a few days ago, you are now speaking with a 16 year old! Such Magic! Such Joy!

So, it's not really that exciting. But at the same time, it's kind of thrilling!

Anyway, this calender is the greatest and New York is on my mind. Cheers!

Blue Ridge and Hockey thoughts (clearly related!)

HMMM....how cliche is this? Let me use this inspiring photo and make a complete left turn: HOCKEY! Our 2nd night, we went to a hockey game at Liberty and...GOOD GRAVY, HOCKEY IS THE GREATEST! I actually walked in thinking I was gonna cry (it seemed to be the thing that trip, ya know?)  It was loud and cold and LOUD. But lo and behold, hockey is the bestest! The brawling, oh my. I have never before taken delight (or even interest!) in grown men fighting but apparently, it's quite enjoyable. Anyway, left turn. Backtracking to autumnal things....

▲▲ Blue Ridge ya'll. And what is it about fall that makes me say ya'll? Rhyming, I guess, but then, I digress.

I'll stop now.

Oh, and thank you blogger for making my pictures blurry! So sweet of you!

▲▲ Clearly, I have mastered the art of looking scenic, whatever that is.

X and O's to infinity for you Fall (or let me be hipster, AUTUMN.) And if I were really hipster, I would be saying this whilst drinking a pumpkin latte or whatever those are. But I destest drinking wood, so hot chocolate for me!

HEY FALL, NICE TO MEET YOU.

Oh Fall!

To be quite honest, this trip was miserable. Now hear me out, it wasn't ALL miserable, of course! Therefore, I will only be highlighting the non miserable parts, and you will wind up thinking I had a magical time, ALL the time! And go ahead and think that if you like. It's probably a lot prettier of a thought than me bawling in Panera.

No joke.

On a side note, I was wearing waterproof mascara, so all was well!

But FALL....Fall is beautiful. Seeing the trees change, and the air beginning to chill, it always reminds me that God is a VERY loving God. He gave us Fall to enjoy, to frolic in, to take pictures of. Yes, and even to cry alligator tears in Panera! Fall is full of good things, if I'm willing to look.

Now, on to the fun!

“Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance.”
― Yoko Ono

WHAT A KRYN WOULD WEAR

So, it has dawned on me that I like traveling. So I will write about it. Pointing out the obvious is my specialty!

Traveling is all sorts of fun, but dressing on trips (and doing hair, that's the worst!) is a pain. And that is coming from an experienced traveler. Please accept these tips as a sign of my love for clothes, new places and general nonsense.

TRY TO LOOK NICE, DUH.
I used to always wear shorts and an aero shirt and converse while traveling. And on a scale of one to homeless, it was not pretty. Now, I'm not saying I've been elevated to some fashion goddess, but I figured that since I was gonna look at these photos for THE REST OF MY LIFE, I might as well brush my hair and wear a shirt without stains. Aren't you proud of me!?

ALWAYS BRING A SWEATER!
This is so mandatory. Airplanes are like hormonal women, hot one minute and freezing the next. Thus, a sweater! It also acts as a blanket and a pillow and if need be, a tissue. Oh and also, wash it when you get home.

HAVE A LITTLE FUN
The fact is, you are in a new city or a new country AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. Take great delight in that fact and bask in it's greatness; you can wear mismatching prints and colors and no one will care, or even notice. Thank goodness we have cities so we can be dorks once in a while. It's healthy for the soul.

My outfit, in case any of you are passionately curious
top: forever 21
jeans: old navy (first time wearing jeans in almost 8 months, mind you!)
shoes: jcp
necklace

And with that, I'm off! Can you guess where too?

Birthdays! And things relating to them!

With my birthday coming up, which is basically an excuse to be as self centered as possible, I've been planning a few things (more like, photos I want people to take of me, in which I will hopefully look way cuter than I actually am.) After all, 16 only comes once! (Thank goodness, I've heard it's rough sometimes.)

So anyway, with birthdays on the brain, here are some photos of my frem on her birthday! I don't know who the photographer was, but as you can tell, she was pretty great.....

Weekends and such!

A few things about this photo, and life in general!

We went to Universal this weekend and apparently I am not a Universal person? I think Disney is more my style- there's a lot more pink, cute little mice and high pitched singing. I can handle that! And E.T! Whoever came up with E.T hopefully  has become a hermit and whoever thinks that E.T is cute should hang their head in shame. I am all for extra terrestrial whatever,  but COME ON. At least make it a cute alien!

And also, Volleyball is over which means I ACTUALLY HAVE TIME again! My Birthday in in a month,  have a sickness called pumpkin fever, and have a serious urge to wear sweaters.

So in other words, not much is new!

How have you been?
