Because the year is almost over and because I can't think of much else to post about, how about a little recap from 2011?
Most popular post.
Thank you for asking! My blog has been off and on public during its existence. Some post were um, not so great, while other had great success. The one with the highest views however, was my Victory! post, where I posted about my Chicago adventures. Also, Sophie and the Stick was pretty high up there.
Most Controversial post.
Because my amount of readers it limited, I don't get much controversy. But my Merci Beacoup post stirred up a little more than usual. I wrote about how much I love the Sweatin' to the oldies videos. It made some people cringe. It made others laugh.
Post who's success surprised me.
When I write little posts, they usually end up being good or totally bad. So when Nautical was written, I assumed that no one would really be interested in me knowing nothing about the coast guard. However, that was not the case. This was one of my most popular posts for quite a while.
Funnest post to write.
By the way, funnest is not a word, so if you decide to use it, please don't go telling people I said it first. Thank you. I like to have fun. Blogging is another way for me to have fun. So I generally try to enjoy blogging. Possibly the best one for me was my A tribute to the 80's and parents. I got my hands on some serious blackmail photos. And I sort of think I scared everyone away with that post.
Most hilarious post.
This is kind of a toughie. What I think is hilarious may be totally different from what you think is hilarious. And in fact it probably is. But I do know for a fact that several extended family members though that The Cow is a wonderful creation was pretty funny.
Post I am proudest of.
I'm not really sure much of this blog is worth being proud of. So I guess my post on 9/11 is the best I've got. I started out talking about bed making and hand sanitizer and ended on a rather profound statement. (For myself anyway.)
I think I'm going to go browse my archives and see what other kinds of nonsense I can find.

Un-German.
I UN-German and proud of it. I love all you Germans, but I'm just fine with no German blood in my body. I do love Germany though. They eat the BEST food ever. I seriously wish Americans would be known for something other than greasy hamburgers and french fries.
Today I made a Sweet Genius show with Emily and Andy. It was so hilarious. My accent was perfect and their genius right on. It was truly amazing. The food was less than amazing, but so fun. I loved making my orange cream reduction sauce and my candied apricot strips. I'm not sure Nana enjoyed it as much as we did though. :)
Smile Day:
I am noticing I do weird things when I smile. I kind of tuck up my lip. It makes me look like I have a mustache, and I don't! Its very very bad.
Sincerely,
I am a Sweeeeet Genius....are YOU?
PS:
See what I mean?!?!? Between that and my pointy clavicle, I'm doomed.

PS:
That I am
I am here to inform you that I am indeed a student. A good one too. Okay, so maybe I miss spelled genius today, and maybe I missed 5 problems on my math and maybe I'm still up to my elbows in homework, but all in all, I am a good student. Don't talk to my parents about this please. Our stories may differ. A little. Or a lot.
And just because I love you, I share this with you. I am so obsessed with this video. I forgot about the bongo's and the cowbells and the little fishy move. And big mama's earrings? Nothing cooler!!! I am so in love. Brooke is sad she is not here to sweat to the oldies with me. She actually is, she told my mother so.
Sincerely,
Gimme some lovin'!

The cow is a wonderful creation
I am so thankful for the existence of cows. They are beautiful. They are dumb. They are tasty. Half of my diet would vanish if cows were not around. Half of my enjoyment would be gone. Woosh. Half of the tastiest stuff in the world would disappear. That would not be pretty.
When I was a little girl, I wanted to milk a cow. I was kind of a "city girl", more or less. I'd been reading Laura Ingalls and I was dying to milk a cow. So when we came to visit my grandparents here, they took us to a local cow farm. I was offered the chance to milk a cow. And ya know what? I was too chicken. (Got the farm lingo down.) Mom and Kj did but I was a wuss and did not. I did not have the thrill and joy of milking a cow. I will forever be disgusted with myself. I need to go back to Moo Poo, Grandma. I need redemption. I need to milk a cow.
The couple who hosted the 4th of July function have cows. We've never been introduced, but I'm sure they are delightful creatures. During the Function, a volleyball game took place near the Field where the cows graze.
The cows all came to the fence to watch. They were rooting for their favorite team. It was way cute.
I appreciate cows like no other human

This is a cute cow.
This is a hairy cow.
This is the most wonderful form of cow.
Actually wait, this is my favorite form of cow:
This is J. Go get em' J, moo your way to success. Moo Moo moo. Moo. Moo. I absolutely love mooing. Did you know I was a cow in my secret life? Just kidding. Moo.
I appreciate cows like no other human
