I want it a back (said in my best 2 year old voice)
I got to go to camp, got to spend time with my cousins and all my friends. And eat way too much ice cream.
I really want it back.
I'd also like to take back this:
Uh, awkward? Who stands like this? By a fence, eating a blizzard, in a pencil skirt??!?! So embarrassing!
I should have sat on the fence. That would have made it a whole lot better.
I think.
What memory do you want to relive?
Love, Miss Sentimental
PS: It's funny how little I look in these pictures. I totally thought I was the bees knees. What does that make me now, the bee's hips?
That made no sense.
Happy Camper
So here are the Thunderbolts: Sidney, Lizzie, Maddie, Gen, Kaitlyn, Me, Alyssa, Emma, Hailey and Flash.
We celebrated dress like your dorm day in style. We went back to the '70's and '80's. I did not exactly love my outfit. I was in the bathroom when everyone picked and got the bottom of the pile. I had a lot of fun though. And Gen, I love your outfit.

Mud pit! I was by far the least muddy. Rolling around in freezing mud was not my idea of fun. I smeared mud on myself just for the picture. The other Thunderbolts were really into the mud though, it was was fun watching them.
Emma and I chillin in the boat during swim time.
Thunderbolts love Twix. We all ate so many this week. There's also a Paprika camper in this picture. I think she likes Twix too.One of my favorite parts of camp was all the dancing we did. Apparently, Thunderbolts also like to dance. Maddie and Lizzie do this hilarious Sponge Bob dance. Lizzie and I also made up our own dance move. It is pretty sweet. I was imitating a commercial and Lizzie suggested that it should become our new dance move. It stuck. Sweetness Lizzie!
Today I saw my cousins Brooke and Elise and Jackson. I had alot of fun. Elise informed me she is now a Beleiber. Gasp. I'm going up to the cabin tomorrow so there might not be any blogging from me. I'm sorry. It's summer. Let me be free.
It's hot dog day. I had a hotdog this week at camp. Maddie did not want hers so she gave it to me. It was dripping hot dog juice and so disgusting. I don't think I'll have a hot dog in a while.
Sincerely,
Forever a Thunderbolt. BOOM!
I celebrate sugar
This was one of the first things I saw today. I didn't know how cool hot air balloons were until I saw them this morning. I was born in a very hip hot air balloon town. Hot air balloons are widely popular there. Our valley is catching on.
This was what I had instead of a Sugar Cookie. Although I delight in sugar cookies, Cake pops are way more tasty. Especially the birthday cake kind. And I actually know someone who has a birthday today. I ate that whole cake pop out of love for this person I don't really know. I celebrated in your honor Heidi.
Here’s the inside of my cake pop. As you can see, it is unbelievably fluffy and sugary. These are almost as good as Sprinkles cupcakes. But smaller. And bigger is better, and better is bigger and little bit is never enough (No no no!) Sorry. That just popped out. High School Musical, ya'll.
I hold my cake pops very tight because I think they are so delish. I do not want to drop the deliciousness. So before I go any further I will tell you about sugar cookies. I used to not like them, but I found a great recipe and I will love them forever. I made these perfect ones at Christmas and I tried to sell them on Ebay. Sadly, no one was interested. I actually just finished those last month. I still wanted to sell them. I finally gave in to the delight.
Today I've been shopping since 8:00 for camp stuff. Items. I got almost everything I needed, and maybe more. I got a $40 dollar dress for $10 bucks. What a steal! I also happened to go to the Gap. It was probably the best happening ever.
You may think it is strange I am posting a picture of my clothes in the dressing room at Gap. I think it is hilarious. Here's the reason. After we'd been shopping for a while, this helpful young guy came to help us "start a dressing room." Whatever that means. I obviously don't shop in Gap very often because I was confused. When we finished and actually got to the dressing room, all my clothes were neatly arranged on the racks and door. I dont know about you, but I think that is pretty posh. Thank you Kevin. Or was it Jimmy?Sincerely,
I am wearing that purple shirt now.
PS: High School Musical side note for awesome people who take classes: Did you know that Peter started singing High School Musical at the last chemistry class? I know that song by heart, go Peter!
PPS: Be sure to check eBay next time you are craving a sugar cookie. You never know what you'll find.
PPSS: I appreciate interns alot too. I want to be an intern for Glenn Beck. I am sort of an intern now. But not for Glenn Beck. I volunteer at the library. That is very intern-ish.
I Survived!
I was not looking my best. But no one can possibly look their best when they are about to have a laser shoved in their mouth. I am proof.
They used some numbing thing which I will forever love because I could hardly feel a thing.Conversation between me and Dr. S:
Me: (after numbing stuff) Are you poking me?
Dr. S: Uh, I don't know, am I?
From there on it was a walk in the park. I can only eat soft foods and what luck that today is Strawberry Sundae Day. Too bad its not Sunday. That would have been extra wonderful. Anyway, so after my appointment, we went to DQ in search of strawberry sundae's. Our plans were foiled, as DQ was closed. The we went to McDonald's, but they were out of their strawberry imitation stuff. So I ended up with a hot fudge sundae. And I actually never knew they served the fudge hot. I though it was just a name. I'm glad I figured that one out. Who knows when I might have embarrassed myself over that.
McDonald's actually has good Ice Cream. Here is my actually hot fudge sundae.
You can't even tell. Its pathetic. I want people to be able to see the pain I avoided. And I promise I don't wear my glasses that low.I'm a little bit confused about how to celebrate and blog about my celebrating while at camp. I'm thinking of having J guest blog and possibly have some prepared posts. I'm not quite sure.
Sincerely,
I'm glad I never got Dr. S sick.
