Eensy weensy

Lets start off with a 4th of July re-cap. They do not involve those bars. We'll get to those buggers later. Anyway, we went to a function. It was a good function. There was good food there. Lots and Lots. I partied like it was 1776. Actually, I spent most of my time playing with people half my age. I played badminton with a 6 year old, and he was actually quite good.
Function Volleyball game. I did not participate. And that was a good thing. You'll also notice some curious cows in the back of the picture. My chalk garden. Katie was impressed. Katie is 6. But I think its very cute.I can honestly say, this is the 1st year I enjoyed fireworks. I usually hide. But this year I went outside without my hands over my ears. It was such a celebration! I actually stayed out longer than several of my family members. I was greatly pleased, and I get why people like them now. I enjoyed my 4th of July immensely.
E and C came over for the day. They were both sporting Aeropostale and E even had Converse. I was most pleased. These are the girls I'll be going to camp with next week. I go to camp Monday, Omygoodness.

E tried my bars. She said they were disgusting. She hated them.See what I mean? I thought they were bad too. But Dad liked them. I don't get it. But this recipe is going in the trash. Goodbye forever.

I am very tierd right now, so I wont go into lengthy detail of my celebration. I don't wear bikini's and I wont ever. I think that sums up my celebrating. I have a video of me in a ballerina outfit dancing around my friend who was wrapped in a tablecloth sitting on a chair in the middle of our driveway. I was singing the "Eeensy weensy teensie weensie yellow polka dot bikini" song. I heard if from a Yoplait commercial. And in case you were wondering, you will never see it.

Sincerely,
But I have a neighbor who practically does, and He's a he.

Fireworks and Cupcakes

Happy 4th of July to all you Americans. This is so vintage, I love it.

I absolutely love the 4th of July. I dont like the fireworks, but I love that we are celebrating the birthday of our country. I love that today the Declaration of Independence was signed. I have seen that document with my own two eyes. I really have. I have pranced on the lawn of the capitol too. I'll show you the pictures sometime.

I just finished making cookies and cream bars. I've never made them before, and I have to bring them to a BBQ, my fingers are crossed. (btw, our youth pastor mentioned several times in church how much he liked bbq's because of the food, he'll probably like my bars.) I'm not going to enjoy the fireworks tonight. I have sensitive ears. I usually stay inside. Who knows, I might blog then.

Here are some patriotic things....Bomb Pops are extremely patriotic, this is from my June 30th celebration.

The sticker says, fireworks and cupcakes. I could not agree more. And Red Velvet is terribly patriotic.

I'm talking about the flags here. I have a funny story about these exact flags. Maybe even that exact one. Anyway, when we were in D.C, we went here, to the Washington Monument. And while Dad and KJ were walking up (Mom and I were visiting the constitution) KJ walked right into one of these flagpoles. He banged his head. I think that if you have to run into a flag pole, the Washington Monument is a good place to do it.

Of course, I did not get out of that city without embarrassing myself either. We were touring the National Mint and I tripped and fell flat on my face. It was terribly embarrassing. But rather Patriotic, so I'm glad I tripped there. I can always say I’ve tripped in the Mint. I bet I’m the only person who has accomplished that feat.

Puppy dogs with bandanas are patriotic.

Here’s Google’s logo for the day. I don’t think it accurately represents and captures the American Spirit. It looks more like a coloring book.

And with that, Happy 4th of July. I am so grateful for this Nation. I am so grateful for the freedom we all have. I am so grateful for Americans, the best people on earth.
Cheers to the founders, fireworks and cupcakes.

Sincerely,
Red, white and blue are my colors

PS: Attention Celebrators: I finally have the official list from Kate Beard. I am trying to find another day for June 14, but its not looking promising. If you want to celebrate the same days as me, please look at the "This Months Celebrations" section of this blog.

I've been naughty

Disobedience day is a no. No celebrating. I have been very disobedient at times. I can't escape my parents wrath. Ever. They are experts at understanding my disobedience. It is terrible for me. So I tried not to do anything too terrible today. Even though it was disobedience day.

Today is Sunday and thus church. I wore a delightful new dress and enjoyed talking with J, who now no longer lives here. I am not terribly sad because I will see J in a month. The W's even got a special page in the church bulletin. I was impressed. I want to be in one too, but first I need to do something extra fantastic. I also get impressed very easily. I was greatly impressed by the Amazing Worm trick my uncle taught me. He was impressed, I was impressed, and that was an impressive thing.

I've been staying out of the sun all day. I am still wearing that delightful dress. I plan on playing tennis this evening, when the sun is down. J has been doing impressive celebrating also. And I am so dreading this week. I need to be terribly sick before Thursday. I need to catch something horrible. I can't possibly be in the dentist office with a terrible sickness. I can't possibly undergo such a painful thing with a cold or a cough. And colds are very terrible.

Last night we went to my grandma's house. I mostly ran around the yard with my grandpa's dog, and I'm sure embarrassed myself in some way. Buddy is my buddy.
Very cute dog. He is also somewhat disobedient at times. If hek new about this day, he would be running into neighbors houses and stealing their stuffed animals. And that's not a new thing for Buddy.

With that, goodbye forever.

Sincerely,
Thursdays are the worst

PS: I just realized, I can skip the sickness. I just need to get my dentist sick. No pain for me. Sorry Dr. S, but this is serious. I can't do it. So you must become sick.

Pure delight

I had a Sprinkles Cupcake last night. Daddy brought it all the way from Arizona for me. I love Sprinkles cupcakes so much. I especially like the red velvet, which is exactly what I had.It kind of flopped on the way here. It was still perfectly edible and perfectly Delicious. I love the sticker too. And I always save the box.

You are looking at a very happy girl.

Here is me doing the Amazing Worm. It is a wonderful resturant trick. And there is my dinner. And yes, people were staring.

Sincerley,
Absolute Blissful

It's a U.F.O

I don't believe in Extra Terrestrial Life. I just plain don't. This holiday was somewhat of a flop. I have been very near to Roswell, New Mexico. That is the Alien Capitol of the world, or so I've just decided. Once Upon a time, I was obsessed with a audio drama where the people went to Roswell. My friends and I used to pretend we were people in an Alien Cult. I can't remember now, but there was some line from it that we chanted. It was lots of fun.

Today is also cherry pit spitting contest day. I have had one or two of those before. My friend Pam and I had one a while ago. She instructed me in the proper way to spit cherry pits. She won anyway though. My cherry pit spitting was a great success that day. I had no cherries today however. And thus since I had no cherries, I had no pits to spit in a contest.

I still can't figure out the pictures of my Sprinkles cupcake. I am slightly upset. It was so incredibly delightful, I want you all to see it. Today was a very good Saturday. We cleaned and painted and I took pictures. Extraordinary. I have some for you. I have to make up for no pictures yesterday...

That is my brother. That is our trampoline that is falling apart. This is my punk. My Punk kept me awake last night. I was not pleased with her. What else can you expect from a punk?
Punk and I. We are both being un-photogenic.

If you see a U.F.O today, call me. I would like to know. I have a feeling there's a large celebration in Roswell. I bet they have U.F.O's there. But then Its not really a U.F.O anymore. I am terribly confused.

Sincerely,
I spit that pit

PS: At the moment, I have a terrible song stuck in my head. Its from the King and I.
PPS: My french is coming along splendidly, by the way.

I adore Sprinkles

Sprinkles with a capital S, mind you. I had one tonight. I loved it. I really do adore them. However, the phone is not working so I'll give you pictures in a while.

Xoxo,
Red Velvet was made for me

A new month

Today is the Beginning of July. I'm sure you are fully aware of that fact. With a the new month, comes new holidays and a new background for the Garden of Happiness. This is my 2nd month of full time celebrating. Serious Business. I've update the This Months Celebrations section. I'm not depending on the Kate Beard anymore. However, some of the days are very strange, (example: take your pants on a walk day) so If Kate has a better one I'll update my list. I'll tell you if i do.

Anyway, lets get on to today's celebration! I was a little late in finding out today's celebration. However its very easy to make up. I love jokes, but I have problems with them too. I sometimes have trouble understanding Jokes. All my friends know this (Especially Creighton!) And It's not something I'm proud of. I laugh, but I have no idea what I'm laughing about. Until A little while later, and then I laugh very hard. This has happened on several separate occasions. People give me strange looks.

Here is one of my most favorite jokes:

Teacher: Johnny, Can you tell me about the Boston Tea Party?
Johnny: No, I wasn't invited.

K.J has this awesome Joke book. At one time, he was obsessed. A few weeks ago I found it and started reading it before bed. I was laughing and laughing. That joke is one of my absolute favorites. Johnny was one smart kid. He really knew how to answer the question. He has brains. He's probably some Harvard Professor. Or convenient store worker. I'm not sure which. I also like books that have humor in them. I was reading one this morning at 6:30 am (yes me!) And I was laughing very hard. Left Behinds are the best. I feel like cheering every time I read them.

Here's my other favorite Joke (beware, it is very terrible)

Why was Tigger looking in the toilet?
He was looking for Pooh.

Your parents are probably going to forbid you from reading this blog now. I'm sorry. But I do love it. I just don't understand why A.A.Milne choose "Pooh" for a characters name. After all, its a children's book. And with a name like Pooh, you are guaranteed to be teased. I digress. I still like that joke whether you read this blog or not.

And, I have not one picture for you today. I plan on updating later with pictures because I am planning on getting my ears pierced tonight. I also plan on going shopping and buying lots of cute things. I will tell you all about it.

Sincerely,
I was not invited either and I hope you continue to read my blog

PS: At first I wrote that I was getting my ears priced. This is not the case.
