Brought to you by phone photos and nostalgia.

OKAY! I just felt like clarifying. TPNC does not stand for "toilet paper north carolina", despite that being the first obvious choice. It stands for Teen Pact National Convention..which week long camp where Teen Pact kids from all over the nation come together for a week of eating and sitting.

Basically. But it's really fun!

Getting up at 3:30 am to get on a bus with 50 people you don't know is a scary thing. Yet again, through gods grace I had an amazing time and met such wonderful people. Even if the bus was HOT (like being in 80 degree weather but without the benefit of a tan) and the drive was long (12 hours much) it was wonderful.

Also all the photos people took of me while I was sleeping, pure joy!

2. #thefaultinjersphotobomb (see his nose ring? Brought to you by sun and random chance.)
3. Found: a Kryn on the clearance aisle.

There are lots of attractive guys my age at teen pact....yet somehow I always end up hanging out with the 14 year olds. No matter how hard I try it always happens, so this year I ran with it. The little fitz twins made me so happy. And with 5 boys in the family, I decided they needed an honorary big sister and that I was also fully qualified for the job! I just haven't told them yet.

1. GINA who does pageants and is a big sister to everyone and  all the guys love her.
2. My roommate Mandi who by a crazy set of events turns out to be friends IRL with my online buddies.
3. "I look like a fuzzy watermelon"- Amanda Wiggins on her #OTTD
4. Apparently Anna Lees beauty is too blinding, thus the closed eyes on my part. Regardless of how it is, that's what I'm rolling with.

What a good, good week. What a good, good God we serve! And how wonderful it is to not have to look decent 24/7 anymore.

PS: Last years NC post HERE.

Alternate title: #thanksfitzpatrick

What a week. What a wonderful week full of death by laughter, tears of both the happy and sad variety, and a tiny glimpse of Heaven. Oh, and I drank my first cup of coffee and didn't wear a skirt all week! Its okay, I'll revive you if you faint.

Hallelujah, all I have is Christ.
Hallelujah, Jesus is my life.

Warning: Capitol Kids at play

What a difference a year makes!

Last week we all donned blazers and bow ties (and unintentionally....a few blisters!) Our group grew and changed in multiple ways! We spoke up more, even me! Well....only to request lunch, but that's an improvement!

This Teen Pact event was kind of weird. I of course had a good time and all, learned a lot and the like, but there was just something different about it! I'm not sure what it was, maybe that everyone in my room was 15 or under. And not that I don't love me some 15 year olds, but there were not as many friend options there. I can only talk about Hannah Montana for so long, ya feel me?

I no doubt would have died without Angie Bae! She's only 15 (See! I do love them! Just not when they're talking and I'm trying to sleep and oh, it's 2 am) but holy smokes, she's like a wise sensei! She loves the Lord like nobody business and every time she opens her mouth I take notes.( Not really exaggerating either.) Plus she happened to be with me ALL week - through the GRACE of God we we ended up in the same car and committee and everything. #foreverbound

And of course, Sweet Kack! This time she decided she really wanted to join our Hometown Squad, I'd only been saying that for like a year but whatever! And I mean,  so what if she stole my ex fake boyfriend!? (or more like, so what that I set her up with my ex? If you wanna get technical and all.)

1.) SO Thankful for the BEST committee leaders ever. (main teddy #1 not pictured!)  2.) The sport coat squad slays all. 3.) Family photo FINALLY with my little brothers (emphasis on little) who I, for some reason, am okay being seen with, despite their unfortunate tie choices. (#grandmascouch)

It was an amazing week!!! Despite the 15 year olds at 2 am and despite the Everest sized pile of homework that awaited my return. All in all, God is good.

ps: #tbt to state class last year. Gosh, we were all babies!

Pro Congress.

Easily my most favorite TeenPact, yet at the same time, my least favorite.

Basically, the most confusing!

LET ME EXPLAIN: TeenPact congress is where we go play senator and representative at the Florida Capitol, fully dressed in blazers and pantyhose. And while I loved (LOVED) The people I met, being a Senator was less than fabulous. But alas, I did receive a mint in the mail and spend 3 days in a lazy boy so like, can I complain? No!

Onward and upward!

▲▲ These girls. They rock my world. My dear and lovely AmyBrooke (who is growing up too fast, because since I last saw her in February, she started going by just "Amy." Just Amy you say! I say, never.) And then there's BRIETHECHEESE who is literally my most favorite human. And then Miss HANNAH KATZ who is an angel. She's my 3rd teen pact angel and I can't wait to add more to my already beautiful collection.

▲▲ Krazy Kack who is probably the coolest 13 year old on the earth. Thanks missy for all the bedtime snuggles and hugs and all that jazz.

▲▲ Isaiah literally walked out of my instagram dreams and walked into my life! He dresses like any true prepster (lobsters, seersucker and the most darling plaids of all time.) and he even makes his own bow ties! And as his perfrect hair was dubed "The Highlights From Heaven" you really can't judge me for hugging him 1000 times, can you?

Crazy fun week. God is good. So GOOD.

#TPCONGRESS14 over and out!

PS: State Class HERE and #TPNC14 is HERE.

#TPNC14 (Aka, best week ever)

I have hope! That maybe next time TeenPact rolls around I won't be so scared/anxious/calling my mom every 5 seconds. Because God is always faithful, and I always have an amazing time.

Honestly though, I am proud of myself for once! I really hate saying that I'm proud of myself right out, even though I express it 100 different ways. But honestly, I am! Because going into a camp with 600 kids, not knowing a single girl, and walking away having said goodbye to amazing friends is something else. Something I couldn't have done a year ago. Which brings me to my main point, the more you put yourself out there, the more you see God at work. The more evident His faithfulness is, His goodness and how much He loves us! I could go on and on about it, but the fact that I had someone to sit with at every meal proves how faithful He was to me.

Anyway!
▲▲ By chance (And by chance I mean, GOD.) I ended up with THE BEST roommates ever. One girl happened to be at my state class (in this post there's a photo of Sarah and I right next to one another! So random!) and the other happened to be from where I live, and as the week progressed we found out we had lots of mutual friends.

aaaand my other roommate was from Alaska! Florida, Georgia and Alaska. We all had a lot in common. :)

The thing about TeenPact is that everyone is so nice. EVERYONE. People I'd met less than 24 hours before were already treating me better than so many friends I have. RANDOM STRANGERS. I was blown away. It was refreshing and convicting, all in one.

▲▲ And every time I get to hang out with an angel! I swear, These Georgians are unreal. Last time it was Nellie (who we called and sang happy birthday to this time!), and at NC Amanda was my angel. She's sweet, spunky and, oh, so cute. Those people you meet and feel like you've known them forever? That's Amanda!

▲▲ THIS IS PROOF THAT ONLINE FRIENDSHIPS EXIST. Grace and I had been following one another on insta, and during a stalking session I found out she was in TeenPact too. Instant Friendship! It was SO good to meet her. She's the sweetest (and prettiest!) girl around. And HER VOICE. Gah, it's like raspy and dreamy and slightly buttery.

▲▲ #scandalselfie because apparently my hemline was yet again making my brothers in Christ stumble. Not gonna lie, we had a lot of fun with that one.

People said it would be the best week of my life, and I rolled my eyes. And while I still have a lot of weeks to live (Lord willing!) I think it's safe to say that NC has been one of the greatest so far.

TeenPact, Over and Out!

Blazers and Bow ties, oh my.

Okay, now only my mother and I will enjoy this post - BUT THE MEMORIES! TP (as we shall fondly dub for the sake of laziness) was a blast, as I keep reiterating! So many good people and good times and inside jokes.

▲▲This is kelsea and she's such a cutie! Seriously, she possesses every photogenic gene that I don't. Dang Genetics!

▲▲ Here I am, looking very excited and interested in government Sadly, I had no idea what was going on. The whole "smile and nod" thing really comes in handy at events like this!

▲▲Apparently I am a ghost when it comes to photos, because there were seriously VERY few photos of me. And if I was in them I was either unintentionally covering my face or laughing awkwardly or a million miles away. And so the ONLY photos of me (really!) were with the ukulele. And honestly, I'd kind of imagined myself looking a slight bit cooler whilst strumming, but no! That is not the case! and now i have like 10 photos of me glaring at a british ukulele.

▲▲ SNOW! And a group photo you've already seen, but I promise they are different. Cheers to a snowflake for completely covering my face in the first photo. Like I said, the camera was not my friend that week!

▲▲Never seen so many blazers and bow ties in my life, but still!

And so, that concludes the recap, you all may go about your business. One final shout out to our mothers for sending us on this trip, because we really thought we would die. I'll shut up about Teen Pact now...until May at least! XOXO!
