Observations from the couch

Here I am...blogging about the thighs of gymnasts. I think it's mainly just muscle envy.

While watching the Olympic trials, I noticed there was something different about a few of the gymnasts. Nothing huge or major (well, except the fact that they were DIFFERENT people than last time, I'm not that silly.) After a while, we figured out it was their thighs!

Here are pictures of Carly from 2004 and Nastia from 2008 (Yes, we really are on a first name basis....except they don't know I exist. Ignore that fact.)

and now, Gabby Douglas and Jordan Weiber (I'm still using last names. Clearly, we have not gotten to know one another so well. After all, we are only a few days into the Olympics!)

Okay, not that different.

I think I had a smudge on my glasses. I'm pretty sure. I hope.

And that's what I observe from the couch.  Oh, and when I go to the gym and get on treadmills with tv I always watch food network. It's a total oxymoron. That had nothing to do with gymnasts thighs. Like I said, oxymoron.
